Club Royale: Royal Caribbean’s Casino Rewards
What the program is, what Royal Caribbean publishes about it, and how to judge an offer.
Price My Rewards CruiseClub Royale Explained
Club Royale is Royal Caribbean International’s casino rewards program and one of the most talked-about casino cruise rewards at sea. Here is how it works in general terms, what the line itself publishes, and how it fits with other rewards you may hold.
How Club Royale Works
When you play in a Royal Caribbean casino with your SeaPass card registered for casino play, your play is recorded. Royal Caribbean’s casino page says points are earned based on your level of play, and that the program offers members-only benefits. Its site also has pages for member offers, benefits and downloadable win/loss statements.
Royal Caribbean does not publish a simple chart of what play earns which offer, and offers vary from member to member. Treat any figure you see online as anecdotal.
Club Royale Rewards Match
Royal Caribbean publishes a Club Royale Rewards Match for players who hold status in other casino programs. The application has eligibility rules, including a minimum age and residence requirements, and the line decides what status, if any, to match. If you already hold a land casino tier, read the page before your next sailing.
Celebrity Cruises, Royal Caribbean’s sister line, runs its own casino program, the Blue Chip Club.

Before You Book a Club Royale Offer
- Check exactly which sailings, ships and cabin types the offer covers.
- Note what remains to pay: taxes and fees, gratuities, any deposit.
- Ask whether a guest’s fare is included or discounted.
- Compare with a cash quote for the same week.
Practical Tips for Playing on Board
Register your SeaPass card for casino play at the start of the cruise and use it every time you sit down, at machines and tables alike. Set a daily budget and keep to it; casinos at sea are usually closed while the ship is in port and open at sea, so it is easy to drift in on long sea days. Ask the casino staff how play is recorded on your ship, and check your onboard account regularly, because casino charges go on the same folio as everything else.
